A A needlework picture, probably European, 18th/19th century, worked in colored threads on canvas. Depicting a seated bearded man approached by three standing figures in elaborate historical costume, with an attendant and sailing vessels in the background. Predominantly muted green, brown and gold tones with red accents. Presented under glass in a gilt frame with applied foliate corner ornaments. Sight: 31 1/2" x 39" Frame: 37" x 45"
