A gilt bronze Corpus Christi from a crucifix. Continental, probably German or Italian, 16th–17th century. Cast in the Cristo Morto type with elongated anatomy, crossed feet, and a bowed head expressing the suffering and death of Christ. Retains traces of original gilding throughout. 8" x 7 1/2" x 1 3/4".
