A silver Marian devotional plaque. Probably Spanish Colonial or Latin American. 18th/19th century. The oval domed plaque is centered with a standing figure of the Virgin Mary crowned beneath the Dove of the Holy Spirit and flanked by angels, surrounded by stars and the inscription “HERMANDAD DE STA. MARIA LA CORONADA.” The border is further decorated with ropework and foliate motifs. Fitted with an integral suspension loop. 3 1/4" x 2 1/4" x 3/4".
