McBey, James (Scottish, 1883-1959). A harbor scene with a moored vessel. Pen and ink drawing on paper. Signed and inscribed across the bottom "To my Kay James McBey 15 April 1933. ?? June 1932." Sight: 10 1/2" x 16". Frame 19" x 24". Provenance: Purchased in 1968 at a Portobello Road antique store. From the Estates of Raymond Bahor & Michael Mahoney. Mahoney was a professor and Chair of the Fine Arts department at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, until he retired in 1991. Prior to that he was a curator and editor at the National Gallery of Art, Washington, DC.
