Pair of Vetreria Artigianale D’Este Murano Glass Candlesticks. Late 20th century. Handblown, each has a fluted olive-amber standard surrounded by symmetrical scrolling handles with dark aubergine thorn-like ornament. Broad scalloped drip pans and circular feet have fine dark glass trailing in an overlapping lattice pattern, complemented by matching wavy-edged candle sockets. Retain original factory labels. Condition: One candlestick has a prominent diagonal crack through the central baluster section, materially affecting condition and value. Otherwise light surface wear, minor residue, and typical handmade irregularities, including bubbles and tool marks. No other major damage apparent in the photographs.
