Pair of Vetreria Artigianale D’Este Murano Glass Cornucopia Vases. Late 20th century. Handblown, each is formed as a tall pink ribbed cornucopia with a dramatically folded mouth, applied trailing and prunts, and a gold-leaf-infused fish or marine-creature mount with black glass eyes. The bodies rise on gold-foliate baluster stems and broad ribbed circular feet. One retains its original factory label. Condition: Minor surface wear, shelf scratches, and scattered minute nicks to delicate applied details. Natural asymmetry, bubbles, and tooling irregularities from hand manufacture. Label with wear and handwritten inventory notation. No major cracks apparent from the photographs.
