Antique wrought iron wafer/host iron ( 6.5" Wafer, 32" L"), long-handled scissor-action tongs with two round hinged plates: one engraved with a six-petal rosette/flower design flanked by an incised date reading approximately "18[__]" and initials (possibly "RW" or "PW"), the other plate engraved with a fine waffle/grid pattern; ball-finial handle ends. .
