Aristocrat-Commissioned 22K Multi-Colour-Gold Miniature-Enamel Brooch. <br><br>5.7*3.7cm Wt:24.85g<br>Entirely hand?crafted in 22K gold. Variously toned karat?gold components are individually carved into distinct flowers and leaves, then assembled to form a multi?layered polychromatic floral bezel. The top is embellished with Rococo?style chased?gold foliate details accented by small seed?pearl ornaments. Fitted with a sturdier 18K gold pin. Noble and artistic in overall form, it fully embodies the regal romance of the French court. "(a quatre couleurs)" ?? a high?end 19th?century French goldsmithing technique within antique jewellery, namely four?colour?gold inlay. This method combines four differently hued golds (yellow, red, white, green?grey?black) to compose elaborate motifs, ranking among the signature techniques of European Rococo Revival style.
