A trio of contemporary carved stone figures depicting a stylised Nativity scene. The set comprises two standing figures and one reclining infant figure. Each piece is constructed from two distinct stone types. The upper sections, including the heads and shoulders, are carved from a translucent cream-coloured stone and are finished with smooth, rounded contours devoid of facial features. The lower portions of the standing figures and the cradle of the infant are fashioned from a heavily speckled grey and white stone with a brecciated appearance. The joins between the two stone types are bonded with adhesive. Height of standing figures approx. 11.5 cm (measured against a ruler). Condition: The figures are in good overall condition. Minor traces of adhesive residue are visible at the join lines. The stone surfaces exhibit natural mineral inclusions and slight textural variations. There are no significant chips, cracks, or signs of repair.
