A pair of mid-century modern salad servers consisting of a large serving spoon and a three-tined serving fork. The design features stylized foliate scrolls and a row of small beads at the junction of the tapered handles and the serving ends. The fork is characterized by three wide tines with flame-like outer curves. Each piece is constructed from electroplated silver over a copper base metal. The reverse of the fork junction is stamped with a circular emblem containing a stylized script letter flanked by two wings, positioned above the arched text E.P. COPPER and the number 46. The mark is of American origin (recheck maker). The set is accompanied by a gray tarnish-resistant storage sleeve. Length approx. 12.5 inches (measured against a ruler). Condition: Both pieces exhibit significant signs of age and wear. Heavy tarnish and oxidation are present across all surfaces. The silver plating is extensively worn, particularly on the handles and the serving bowls, exposing the underlying copper base metal. Surface scratches are present throughout.
