This group consists of several carved stone objects including a stylized female figure, a circular vessel, and two bird figurines. The circular vessel and the body of the figure are crafted from a mottled, porphyritic stone in shades of cream, tan, and dark brown. The head of the figure is carved from a translucent pink stone and features incised radial lines. The two bird figurines are made from a translucent orange stone. The items are rendered in a minimalist, folk-art style. Dimensions (approximate, measured against a tape measure): Figure H 4.5 in; Vessel Diameter 4 in. Condition: The female figure displays a horizontal repair or fracture line through the mid-section of the torso. The two bird figurines exhibit minor surface wear and small abrasions. The circular vessel shows surface wear consistent with age and the nature of the stone.
