A vintage glazed porcelain figurine produced by the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory in St. Petersburg, Russia. This piece depicts a reclining lion cub in a resting pose with its head turned to the right. The cub is modeled with one front paw tucked under its chin and the other extended. The figurine features a high-gloss glaze in a tawny brown color with white accents on the underside, muzzle, and paws. Hand-painted details include dark eyes, a brown nose, and small dots representing whisker follicles. The underside is marked with a brown backstamp featuring the stylized Lomonosov animal head logo, the model number 1003, and the designation MADE IN USSR. Length approx. 4.5 inches (measured against a visible ruler). Condition: The figurine is in good condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. The high-gloss glaze remains bright and reflective throughout.
