This lot features two vintage serving sets in their original retail boxes. The first item is a Mikasa canapé tray in the French Bouquet pattern, model SA 698/349. Produced in Germany, the clear glass oval tray is designed with a scalloped edge and embossed floral and plume motifs. It includes a matching cheese knife with a faceted clear handle and a forked stainless steel blade. The second item is a set of four multi-functional silverplated coasters, which are also intended for use as ashtrays. Made in Italy, each piece consists of an octagonal silverplated rim that houses a circular clear glass insert featuring a pressed starburst pattern on the underside of the base. The packaging includes a label identifying the distributor as Ingham. Tray length: 15 inches (as marked on packaging) Coaster diameter: approx. 4 inches (measured against a tape measure). Condition: The items are in their original retail packaging. The cardboard boxes show age-related shelf wear, including scuffing, edge wear, and minor tearing at the corners. The silverplated rims on the coasters exhibit light surface tarnishing and minor scuffing consistent with age and storage. The glass components appear to be free of visible chips or cracks.
