Winchester Model 1886 Extra Light Rifle – .45-70 Govt – Miroku-Made Lever Action – New Haven Marked Up for auction is a Winchester Model 1886 "Extra Light" Rifle chambered in the classic .45-70 Government cartridge. This is the modern production version of Winchester's legendary 1886 lever-action, manufactured under license by Miroku of Japan for U.S. Repeating Arms Co., Inc., New Haven, CT — as roll-marked on the barrel — with dealer tag indicating a manufacture date of 2000–2001.
