The barrel is stamped "Savage Arms Corporation — Utica, N.Y. — Made in U.S.A." and ".300 Savage" with an "Hi-Pressure Steel — Proof Tested" marking and an individual serial number, and the receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounting. The rifle wears a nicely figured walnut stock and forearm with diamond-point checkering panels, a fitted folding rear sight, and a blade front sight, all set against a deep, even blued finish on the barrel and action. Overall condition is excellent, with crisp markings and only light handling wear throughout.
