Winchester Model 71 Deluxe Rifle, .348 WCF — Manufactured 1950 Offered here is a fine example of the Winchester Model 71, chambered in the powerful .348 Winchester Center Fire (.348 WCF) cartridge — a caliber developed exclusively for this rifle and never chambered in any other factory production firearm. The Model 71 was Winchester's final and most refined lever-action design descending from the John Browning-engineered Model 1886, produced only from 1935 to 1958. Today it remains one of the most sought-after Winchester lever guns among serious collectors of classic American sporting arms. This rifle carries serial number placing it solidly within the desirable pre-64 Winchester production era prized by collectors for superior fit, finish, and old-world craftsmanship.
