1967 Topps #326 Bob Uecker MLB Baseball Trading Card (PSA 7 NM) (PSA Certification: 42372729). Featuring one of the most beloved and entertaining personalities in baseball history during his playing career. The card pictures Uecker as a member of the Philadelphia Phillies, one of four Major League clubs he represented during a seven season career as a catcher from 1962 through 1967. Although his statistics at the plate were famously modest, Uecker transformed his playing experiences into the foundation for an extraordinary second act, becoming a nationally recognized broadcaster, comedian, actor and baseball personality affectionately known as "Mr. Baseball." Beginning in 1971, Uecker became the unmistakable radio voice of his hometown Milwaukee Brewers, a role he held for more than half a century and which ultimately earned him the prestigious Ford C. Frick Award from the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Beyond the broadcast booth, generations of fans came to know him through his hilarious appearances with Johnny Carson, memorable Miller Lite commercials, his role as George Owens on Mr. Belvedere, and his unforgettable portrayal of announcer Harry Doyle in the Major League films. His tremendous popularity has made Uecker's original playing era cards particularly enjoyable collectibles, connecting his comparatively brief Major League playing career with the enormous cultural legacy that followed. Presented in an impressive PSA 7 Near Mint grade, this 1967 Topps issue combines classic 1960s Topps appeal, strong certified condition and one of baseball's most distinctive personalities, making it an outstanding addition to any Bob Uecker, Philadelphia Phillies, Milwaukee baseball, vintage Topps, or advanced baseball card collection.
