SIX PICTURE FRAMES - TWO OAK RECTANGLE FRAMES, A WALNUT TONE OVAL-IN-SQUARE FRAME, A GOLD TONE ROPE EDGE FRAME, A GOLD TONE HINGED TRIPLE FRAME, AND A BLANCHARD HIGH SCHOOL PROM 2002 "CELESTIAL NIGHTS" SOUVENIR FRAME Six frames out of this estate, running from plain oak wall frames up to a brushed silver school prom souvenir frame. The two oak frames are the practical pieces in the lot, one with a stepped and reeded molding and one with a plain rounded profile, both suited to 8 by 10 or 9 by 12 photographs, artwork, or documents, and both with sawtooth or wire hangers on the back. The walnut tone frame is the most decorative of the wood pieces, a square frame with mitered corner panels and a raised oval bead surrounding an oval opening, the kind of frame used for a formal oval portrait. The gold tone rope edge frame is a standard 5 by 7 tabletop frame with a maroon velvet-covered easel back. The gold tone hinged triple frame stands in a zigzag on a table with three matched vertical openings, good for a family or graduation grouping. The sixth is a local souvenir piece: a brushed silver finish frame printed with black stars and swirls, a raised die-cut star at the upper corner, and lettering across the insert reading Celestial Nights - Blanchard High Prom 2002. Most of the frames are empty and still carry their original corrugated or brown backer boards, so bidders are buying frames and not photographs. Bidders should note the wood finishes show handling wear and light scuffing, the glass is dusty and spotted, and the oval frame backing is soiled. Sold as a lot of 6 frames. Description Oak frame, reeded molding - solid wood in a medium oak finish with a stepped and reeded profile rising to a rounded outer edge, glass present, plain brown backer board and cardboard filler in place. Interior opening measures approximately 12 inches wide by roughly 9 inches tall per the tape-measure photographs, making it suitable for a 9 by 12 or 8 by 10 photograph with a mat. Overall frame roughly 14 by 11 inches. The tape hook rests on top of the frame in the measurement photographs rather than hooked over the edge, so these are close estimates. Oak frame, plain profile - solid wood in a medium oak finish with a simple rounded molding, glass present, gray-brown backer board, black paper dust cover taped in place at the back with a hinged black cardboard easel strut attached. Opening measures approximately 11 inches wide by roughly 9 inches tall per the tape-measure photographs, overall roughly 12-1/2 by 10-1/2 inches. This one is set up to either stand on a table or hang. Walnut tone oval-in-square frame - square wood frame in a dark walnut finish with mitered corner panels radiating from a raised bead-molded oval opening, glass present. The oval opening measures approximately 11 inches tall by roughly 9-1/2 inches wide per the tape-measure photographs, overall frame roughly 13 by 12 inches. Behind the glass is a tan woven fabric or burlap-textured filler pan
