25-Character Title Photo Frames Lot of 20+ (23) Alternates: 20+ Picture Frames (18) Brass & Pewter Frames (21) Picture Frame Group Lot (23) HiBid DESCRIPTION LARGE GROUP OF PICTURE FRAMES - BRASS AND GOLD TONE TABLETOP FRAMES, ORNATE PEWTER AND SILVER TONE FRAMES WITH ROSE AND FLORAL CASTING, A BASKETBALL FIGURAL FRAME, A PAINTED WOOD SPRING FRAME, HINGED DOUBLE FRAMES, AND A FRAMED VICTORIAN GIRL PRINT A big mixed group of picture frames out of this estate, sized from small 2 by 3 inch keepsake frames up to an 8 by 10 wall frame, and covering most of the styles a household accumulates over the years. The brass and gold tone frames make up the bulk of the group, including several hinged double frames that stand open in a V, plain narrow-profile brass frames, gold frames with a beaded or rope-cast edge, and gold frames with a heavier scrolled and pierced ornament at the corners. Alongside those is a run of ornate pewter and silver tone frames with cast rose, ribbon, and floral relief, including a matched pair of standing rose-cast frames with painted pink roses and green leaves, a small bow-and-roses rectangle, a small floral oval, and a three-opening silver tone frame with a rose crest at the top. Rounding out the lot are a figural pewter basketball frame with a molded player, backboard, hoop, shoes, and ball, a bright painted wood frame with birds on a picket fence and tulips and daffodils in yellow, purple, teal, and red, a chrome or nickel finish frame, a hinged gold double oval frame, a large plain wood frame with glass, and one frame that comes with a sepia print of a Victorian girl holding roses already in it. Most are empty with factory corrugated cardboard or brown backer board still in place. This is a good utility lot for a booth dealer, a photographer, a wedding or gallery-wall project, or a household that needs frames by the box. Bidders should note these are used frames with rubbing, wear, and tarnish to the finishes, dust and spotting on the glass and backer boards, and one plain wood frame with a visibly clouded or hazed glass. Sold as one lot of frames as pictured. Description Count - approximately 20 to 22 frames are visible in the group photograph. The frames were not individually counted or itemized, so no exact count is claimed and bidders should count from the group photograph and satisfy themselves before bidding. Brass and gold tone frames - the largest group. Includes at least two hinged double frames, each with two matched brass panels joined by a hinge so they stand open, one pair with a fine beaded edge and one pair with a heavier engine-turned edge, measuring approximately 7 inches tall by roughly 9 inches wide across both panels open per the tape-measure photographs. Also several single brass frames with narrow profiles and rope or beaded edging, approximately 5 by 7 inches, and a taller plain brass frame approximately 7-1/4 inches tall. A pair of gold tone frames with heavy pierced scrollwork at the corners m
