MID-CENTURY METLOX POPPYTRAIL CALIFORNIA POTTERY -4 BOWLS, FREEFORM TURQUOISE AND GRAY-BLUE COUPE An four-piece grouping of mid-century California pottery serving and dessert bowls by Metlox, all marked POPPYTRAIL BY METLOX / MADE IN CALIFORNIA on the underside. The lot combines four freeform organic-shaped bowls with soft turquoise interiors and speckled white exteriors,. Clean modernist shapes with the lightly speckled body typical of Metlox's mid-century dinnerware lines. Sold as a lot of 4. Description Four freeform bowls: asymmetrical oval or boat shape with a gently rising crescent rim, turquoise-blue interior glaze, speckled off-white exterior, approximately 2" tall; approximately 7" to 8" across at the widest point per the photographs.
