Artist Biography Edward Joseph Cherry (1886–1960) was a British artist and prolific etcher particularly recognized for detailed architectural views of England. His subjects frequently included cathedrals, abbeys, colleges, historic streets and important London landmarks. His documented subjects include Westminster Abbey, St. Paul's Cathedral, York Minster, the Tower of London and Oxford colleges. A public collection of the Shire of Narrogin, Western Australia, for example, holds Cherry's original etching York Minster, West Front
