How shipping works Bid Boss offers in-house shipping. Shipping is not automatic and must be selected by the bidder by checking the "Request Shipping" option. This lets our team identify lots that require shipping. Requesting shipping If you intend to have your items shipped, you must select the Request Shipping option. If shipping was not selected but is later required, you must email [email protected] before the pickup deadline. Shipping requests submitted after the deadline may not be accommodated. After the auction closes After the auction closes, Bid Boss staff will contact winning bidders who requested shipping to confirm the shipping address, provide a shipping quote, and arrange payment. Items will not be shipped until payment for both the auction invoice and shipping charges is received in full. Payment Shipping fees are the responsibility of the buyer and must be paid in full prior to release. Shipping charges are communicated and collected before shipment. Address requirements Items are shipped only to the shipping address on file in the bidder account. Buyers are responsible for ensuring their address is complete and accurate. PO boxes are not accepted. Pickup vs shipping deadline If shipping is required, the shipping request must be made no later than Saturday at 3:00 PM following the auction. Items not picked up, not shipped, or not communicated about by this deadline are considered abandoned per the Terms & Conditions. Risk and carrier responsibility Risk of loss transfers to the carrier once items leave our facility. Any damage, delay, or loss in transit must be addressed directly with the carrier. International and U.S. shipments All customs duties, tariffs, taxes, brokerage fees, and import charges are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Bid Boss does not prepay, collect, or reimburse customs or import-related charges. Refused shipments or unpaid duties do not constitute a return or refund.
