Mike Borrett (b. 1960) Madison, WI, 2007 26.5" length | 26.5" wing tip to wing tip Magnificent wooden carved life-size flying calling Snow Goose. Carved with the added touch of a calling mouth, including tongue detail, the finely sculpted body appears as if in natural flight. The cupping wings are gouge carved topside and bottom. The flight feathers are all individually relief carved. Not to miss any details the neck even has feather striations gouged out along with relief carved tail feathers and relief carved tucked up feet. The off center hang point allows it to appear entirely natural unlike many of his fliers which have center hang points. Signed and dated BORRETT in left wing primary feather dated 2007Condition: Excellent and original
