Eclectic collection of Asian-inspired decorative and collectible pieces featuring a mix of porcelain, lacquerware, bamboo-style décor, textiles, and traditional Chinese exercise balls. The lot includes a large decorative porcelain bowl with an angular geometric form, colorful floral decoration, Asian-style border motifs, and gold-tone accents; a bamboo-style covered box decorated with a crane and tree motif; and a round lacquer-style covered trinket box featuring hand-painted tiger and animal scenes. Also included is a boxed pair of Chinese iron exercise/health balls, sometimes referred to as Baoding balls, presented in a red brocade-style case with the original “Iron Ball Direction” insert marked Made in China, along with a small embroidered Asian good-luck ornament featuring the (fu) character, traditionally associated with good fortune and happiness. A fun mixed lot for collectors of Asian décor, Chinese collectibles, porcelain, lacquerware, decorative boxes, Baoding balls, and vintage international souvenirs. Items are preowned and show varying degrees of age-related wear, including surface marks, finish wear, discoloration, and wear to packaging. See photos for details and condition.
