The center incorporates a fixed diagonal cutting slot fitted with two heavy steel slicing blades secured by industrial flush mounting screws. The lower section includes its original matching removable wooden sliding box hopper designed to hold produce firmly in place while traveling smoothly up and down the cutting track assembly. The entire unit retains an exceptional, field aged character with natural grain weathering, minor splintering, old storage staining, and light superficial rust on the steel blade components from long term barn protection. This piece serves as a fantastic rustic accent for farmhouse kitchen displays, historical agricultural staging, or early country life collections.
