This auction lot features two distinct pairs of vintage primitive wooden horse harness hames, historically utilized as a structural element for a draft animal collar system. The first pair is crafted from a lighter wood reinforced with iron straps and top loop brackets, while the second pair features a darker wood composition complete with attached heavy leather strap guards and iron ring pulls. Notably, this darker pair is crowned with a prominent set of solid brass ball top finials that showcase a beautiful aged golden luster. Each piece exhibits an incredible rustic character with deep wood grain weathering, historical leather cracking, and a rich dark patina with uniform superficial oxidation on the iron hardware from decades of barn storage. These primitives serve as an exceptional wall display for ranch, cabin, or traditional farmhouse decor, as well as a highly collectible set of early agricultural Americana. Please review all the provided close-up photographs to examine the exact wood grain textures, brass ball conditions, and iron configurations.
