This antique Victorian era brass birdcage comes complete with its matching original hoop style floor stand. The round metal birdcage features a domed wire top construction with fine mesh lower screen guards, built in little access doors, and a removable circular bottom tray for easy cleaning. It hangs suspended by a top hook inside a large decorative brass ring frame which is mounted to a slender vertical support rod and anchored by a weighted circular pedestal base. The entire assembly exhibits an authentic aged patina with overall surface tarnish, oxidation, small dark spots, minor scuffs, and interior base residue from decades of historical display.
