Remington Model 14

R Serial # 89123. .35 Remington caliber pump action take-down rifle with a 22” barrel. The bore is excellent, mostly clean with good rifling and some light fouling. Tubular magazine. Made in 1922. The blued metal finish on the barrel is in fair condition showing light muzzle wear with scuffs, scratches and scattered light rust. The magazine tube shows heavy wear with moderate rust. The blued metal finish on the receiver and trigger guard is in good to very good condition showing light edge wear with scattered light surface rust freckling. The grooved walnut forearm I sin very good condition showing light marks with finish wear. The walnut butt stock has been altered by adding checkering, adding a homemade black rubber grip cap and recoil pad. The wood shows scattered light dings and scratches with finish wear. There is a hole in the top of the wrist and a swivels stud just behind the grip cap. Original front and wheeled rear sights. The action works fine. Made from 1912 until 1935. C&R.
