R Serial # 26485. 20 Ga. pump action take-down shotgun with a 28” solid rib barrel. The bore is excellent, mostly clean with light fouling. The barrel is choked Full. Made by J. Stevens Arms for Montgomery Ward, it is similar to the Model 620. The blued metal finish on the barrel is a re-blue and is in very good condition showing slight thinning with fine scratches. There is slight evidence of buffing. The mid-bead is missing. The magazine tube shows heavy action wear. The blued metal finish on the receiver is a re-blue and is in very good condition showing thinning with edge wear and scratches. There is evidence of moderate to heavy buffing. The grooved walnut forearm and the matching checkered walnut stock have been refinished and are in very good condition showing some scattered light marks. Non-factory red rubber recoil pad with an LoP of 13-1/2”. The action works fine. C&R.
