American Brass Sailor Boy & Anchor Figurine

A vintage hollow-cast copper-alloy figurine depicting a nautical scene. The piece features a jovial young boy dressed in a traditional sailor’s uniform, including a sailor hat, neckerchief, and bell-bottom trousers. He is positioned leaning against a large fouled anchor with a rope coiled around the shank and cross-member. The figure is set upon an integral square plinth base. The reverse edge of the base is stamped with the block lettering MADE. IN USA. To the right of the country of origin mark is a small, indistinct stylized geometric monogram that is not legible as a name.Height: 7.25 inchesWidth: 3.75 inchesDepth: 3.5 inchesThe figurine is in good vintage condition. The surface displays overall oxidation, tarnish, and a darkened aged patina. Minor pitting and small surface nicks are present, particularly along the sharp edges of the base and anchor flukes. A small casting void is visible on the bottom right corner of the base near the stamped mark. No visible cracks or structural repairs are present.
