MacKenzie-Childs Honeymoon Earthenware Mug & Bowl

A six-piece collection of hand-painted terra cotta earthenware from MacKenzie-Childs in the Honeymoon pattern. The group includes five large mugs and one small bowl with a scalloped rim. Each mug features a waisted form with a flared rim and a bulbous lower section, fitted with a large loop handle topped by a decorative gold-tone ceramic ball finial. The bases feature an impressed logo depicting a hand with spread fingers, the text MACKENZIE-CHILDS LTD, and the dates 1983 - 2002. Hand-painted markings include the pattern name Morning Glory, artist initials LB, EM, KG, RD, TA, SS, ED, and LJ, and various production dates including 2003 and 2005AS.Height: 4.5 inchesThe set is in very good overall condition, with minor rubbing and light cosmetic shelf wear to the gold luster on the rims, most notably on the scalloped edge of the bowl (photo 2). No visible chips, cracks, or repairs are present on any of the pieces.
