A nine-piece set of Japanese silver-tone metal dessert flatware consisting of five forks and four spoons. The handles are designed with ornate openwork scrollwork and terminate in shield-shaped enamel inserts. The decorative motifs include orange and yellow foliate patterns, autumn maple leaves, and blue floral designs including forget-me-nots and a single bloom. Each utensil is stamped on the reverse with the word JAPAN in clear block letters.Length: 4 3/4 inchesThe flatware set is in good vintage condition with overall surface tarnish and a natural patina consistent with age. One fork, positioned at the bottom left of the primary overview image, has a significantly bent outer tine. The enamel shield inserts remain intact with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs.
