Three long handled digging tools. (1) A drain spade, also called a trenching or transplant spade, with a narrow rounded black steel blade, a rolled step at the top of the blade, a black painted socket, a straight hardwood handle, and a red painted D grip with a wood crossbar. (2) A round point digging shovel with a wide black steel blade, a black socket, and a long straight hardwood handle with a plain rounded top and no grip. (3) A four tine spading fork with straight square tines, a red painted socket worn through to bare metal in places, a hardwood handle, and a black D grip with a wood crossbar. Condition is good used across all three. The blades and tines show scuffing and light surface rust from work, the paint on the fork socket is chipped, the handles are solid and straight with dirt, weathering and a dark stain on the top of the shovel handle, and all three heads are tight on their handles with no cracks seen in the photos. A practical working set. Estimated Value: $30 to $50 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot.
