Heavy-gauge aluminum parking sign reading COMPACT CAR PARKING ONLY in green letters on a white background, framed by a green border with rounded corners. The small print in the lower right corner reads A-1218-24249. It measures roughly 12 inches wide by 18 inches tall, the standard commercial parking sign size, with a single mounting hole centered at the top and another centered at the bottom for post mounting. This is a genuine commercial traffic-style sign rather than decorative reproduction, but it is a modern production piece and not a vintage or antique sign. The back is smooth white painted aluminum with a couple of small scuff marks near the top hole and one faint stain. The metal is clean, flat and free of rust, dents or bends. Condition is very good and it appears to have seen little or no outdoor service. Parking signs are printed on aluminum rather than steel because aluminum does not rust. A practical lot for apartment owners, business lots, churches and campgrounds. Estimated Value: $10 to $20 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is.
