Ceramic Black & Red Ashtray

Updated August 27, 2026

Vintage-style rectangular ashtray with a bold black and deep ruby-red finish. It has gently curved wavy sides, a recessed central basin, and raised decorative rests in the center. The substantial molded form and dramatic red-and-black coloring give it a Mid-Century retro appearance. Made of a glazed ceramic or pottery, with a high-gloss black glaze and red glazed center. The underside has added blue felt strips to protect furniture surfaces. Dimensions are approximately 8 1/4"l x 6"d. Good pre-owned condition with normal age and use wear. There are surface scratches, scuffs, small glaze imperfections, and some residue and marks in the red center. At least one small glaze chip along the outer edge is visible. The underside shows minor wear, and the protective felt strips have some wear and soiling. No major cracks or large breaks are visible.
