Ceramic Tye-Died Ashtray

Updated August 27, 2026

Vintage-style oval ashtray with a deep glossy black finish and a dramatic multicolor glazed interior. The center features a raised sculptural design with rich red, orange, yellow, olive-green, and brown tones, surrounded by a black rim. Two decorative curled cigarette rests are incorporated at opposite ends. The underside is marked “USA 9180” and appears to have an additional maker’s mark or signature. Made of glazed ceramic or pottery, likely molded stoneware or earthenware, with a high-gloss decorative glaze. Dimensions are approximately 8"l x 5 1/2"d. Good pre-owned condition overall. There are several noticeable glaze chips along the outer rim and edge, exposing the lighter ceramic underneath, along with smaller scattered nicks. Light surface scratches, scuffs, dust, residue, and normal signs of age and use are visible. The colorful interior glaze remains glossy and vibrant. No obvious major cracks or repairs.
