A Hudson's Bay Company multi-stripe wool point blanket, manufactured in England. The blanket is composed of 100 per cent wool and features the traditional pattern of yellow, navy blue, and red stripes set against a cream-coloured ground. It is fitted with a large rectangular label bearing the company's coat of arms and the date 1670, with bilingual text in English and French. The label includes registration marks for Canada (TM REG NO 248086) and the U.S. (REG NO 1134172). The blanket is accompanied by a separate authenticity card and a branded black fabric and clear plastic zipped storage bag. A piece of adhesive tape on the bag is marked Queen Size. Condition: The blanket is in excellent condition, appearing unused and well-preserved within its storage bag. There are no visible signs of wear, soiling, or moth damage.
