A substantial collection of NHL hockey trading cards spanning the late 1970s to the mid-1990s, housed within a black Top Dog brand Hockey Collector’s Series three-ring binder. The binder features an iridescent holographic graphic of a hockey player on the front and spine, with the interior metal ring assembly bearing the Rembrand manufacturer's stamp. The collection is organised into multi-pocket protective plastic sheets and includes various brands such as O-Pee-Chee, Topps, Upper Deck, Pinnacle, Leaf, Select, Pacific Paramount, and Ultimate Trading Card Co. Notable highlights include: - Early career Wayne Gretzky cards: 1979-80 Topps Record Breaker (number 162), 1980-81 O-Pee-Chee Record Breaker (number 162), 1982-83 O-Pee-Chee base (number 7) and Super Action (number 106), and 1983-84 O-Pee-Chee base (number 29), Scoring Leader (number 3), and Trophy Winner (number 1). - 1991-92 Ultimate Trading Card Co. vintage legend series featuring Bill Gadsby, Johnny Bower, Harry Howell, Lou Fontinato, John Wilson, and Gilles Marotte. - Mid-1990s modern era cards and inserts, including Ray Bourque, Patrick Roy, Mark Messier, Brian Leetch, and Jim Carey. Inserts featured include Leaf Full Contact and Pinnacle gold-foil Rookie seals. Height approx. 11 3/4 inches Spine width approx. 3 1/4 inches. Condition: The cards are stored in protective plastic sleeves. Vintage cards from the late 1970s and early 1980s exhibit varying degrees of centring and minor corner wear typical for the era. The mid-1990s cards appear to be in excellent to near-mint condition with sharp corners and bright colours. No cards are professionally graded.
