This collection of North American sports memorabilia focuses on the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Blue Jays. The primary component is an assortment of items from the 2003/04 Toronto Maple Leafs Mini Puck Collection, a promotional series released in conjunction with The Toronto Sun and Activa Consumer Promotions. This includes a folding cardboard rink display board, promotional posters, and a group of miniature plastic pucks. The pucks feature portraits of various players including Mats Sundin, Ed Belfour, Alexander Mogilny, Bryan McCabe, Tomas Kaberle, Gary Roberts, Tie Domi, and Nik Antropov. Several items remain in their original factory-sealed retail cellophane packaging, featuring promotional cards for Joe Nieuwendyk and Brian Leetch. Included in the lot are two miniature bobblehead-style figurines featuring NHL goaltenders Martin Brodeur of the New Jersey Devils and Patrick Roy of the Colorado Avalanche, both identified by text on their bases. The collection is completed by a 1998 Toronto Blue Jays Official Guide. This paperback team guide features pitcher Rocket Roger Clemens on the front cover and commemorates his 1997 American League Cy Young Award win. Width of flat display board: approx. 41 cm Height of Blue Jays guide: approx. 23 cm. Condition: The items range in condition from loose to original sealed packaging. The cardboard display board and promotional posters show minor shelf wear and creasing at the edges and corners. The Blue Jays guide shows light wear to the covers and edges. The plastic pucks and figurines appear to be in good order with no significant damage or chips. Several pucks and cards remain in their original unopened retail packaging.
