This assortment of National Hockey League memorabilia includes a variety of literature, programs, and trading cards primarily associated with the New York Rangers and Toronto Maple Leafs. The collection features two hardcover books with dust jackets: 100 Ranger Greats: Superstars, Unsung Heroes, and Colorful Characters by Russ Cohen, John Halligan, and Adam Raider, with a foreword by Sam Rosen; and I'd Trade Him Again: On Gretzky, Politics, and the Pursuit of the Perfect Deal by Terry McConnell and J'lyn Nye with Peter Pocklington, featuring a foreword by Wayne Gretzky. Also included are two souvenir publications: a Hockey Night in Toronto magazine dated 19 December 1998 for a Rangers vs. Leafs match, and the Toronto Maple Leafs Official Yearbook 1998-99 commemorating the final season at Maple Leaf Gardens. The trading card component comprises a yellow binder housing an assortment of 1981-1982 O-Pee-Chee hockey cards, with visible players including Darryl Sittler, Don Luce, Kim Clackson, Bill Derlago, Wilf Paiement, Jiri Crha, Vitezslav Duris, Dave Farrish, and Pat Hickey. Further collectibles include a partially opened box of 1991-1992 Upper Deck NHL High Series cards and a single unopened pack of 1997-1998 Pinnacle Beehive Portraits. Completing the lot is a silver-toned resin or metal figurine depicting a hockey player in an action pose, mounted on a black stepped base. The books and programs exhibit minor shelf wear and handling marks. The Upper Deck trading card box has significant handwritten ink markings on the top face. The vintage 1981-1982 O-Pee-Chee cards are ungraded and show characteristic rough-cut edges from the factory and minor corner softening. The binder shows some discolouration and wear.
