Antique National Cast Register Model 592-E-6F, Serial Number 1071942. This is a highly desirable, large, early 20th century floor model machine. These machines had nickel-plated brass over a wooden base with multiple drawers. The 500-class machine features five rows of keys and was produced in both mechanical and early electric. This is model 592-E-6F, with the E identifying the use of electric motors (comes with and electric cord to plug in) and 6F identifying this is a 6-drawer model. These were marketed toward busy businesses needing to track sales and secure cash, sometimes labeled for specific retailers. The machine and base are very nice in appearance but the machine will need some level of cleaning and repair to work as intended. The small glass area over the “Dollar” label is broken. The six drawers tied to the register are tagged: A, B, D, E, H and K. There are four additional drawers that are lockable from the outside and they are tagged as “Records” and “Supplies”. Register and stand are attached and measure 62” tall, 29” wide and 21” deep. **Please Note: This is a very heavy item.
