Vintage Late 1931 Ford Model A 4 Door Sedan

Vintage 1931 Ford Model A 4 door sedan. The Model A was made in model years 1928, 29, 30 and 31. These cars were a great improvement over the heavily dated Model T and a transition car to the 1932 Ford V8 powered cars to come. The Model A offered a wide range of body styles from cars to trucks. Changes to the looks of the 1930 to 31 Model A’s made the cars more stylish upscale looking and also changed from 21” to 19” wheels. This car is a special car, a late 1931 model that was added with changes to the windshield area. The front posts are slanted back and there is no longer an added outside sun visor. For the first time the sun visors were inside the car which would be standard on all 1932 Ford cars. This car also is a high option car that includes the chrome front gravel guard, the flying quail radiator cap, the side window wind wings that are also etched glass. The car also has dual side mounts in the front fenders and a rack on the back of the car to add a trunk or put other items. The car also had cowl lights. Car has nice two-tone paint and interior replaced in original pattern. The car is an older restoration with light wear but still a standout in appearance. Car looks to be complete and ready to go but has not been started. With the mechanical simplicity of these cars and the complete group of replacement parts available, this should be an easy car to get back on the road.
