Vintage 1928 Chevrolet, Series AB National coach (coach was the name during that period for a 2-door sedan). This is a 5-passenger model. This was the last model year to feature a 4-cylinder motor. This was the first year to have four-wheel brakes as standard equipment. Appearance changes this year included crown fenders, a high cowl line and larger headlights to make the car more stylish. These cars came with smooth steel wheels often referred to as “artillery wheels” for their military look. Tires look to be new. General Motors used “Body By Fisher” and the cars of this period had hardwood framed construction. This car is a “restoration in process”. Some of the hardest parts of the restoration have been completed that includes the replacement of the body’s hardwood framework. Appears that much of the mechanical has also been restored such as the engine. Engine looks to be totally rebuilt has not been run. The body has been repainted in green and black, does have some flaws to the finish after being repainted. The chrome radiator shell looks replated and ready to go. Overall, the car looks to be pretty complete. Comes with many parts. Inventory of all parts have not been done so there may be some missing pieces/parts.
