Vintage 1957-59 Union 76 “Sports Club” large metal sign. These signs were used to promote “how to sports books” available at Union 76 gas stations. The signs is large, in the shape of a hang down banner, have the iconic 76 ball logo with a blue background. Sign has mounting holes on three of the four sides. This is a one-sided sign that has fold over edges on three of the four sides to make the signs more rigid. Sign displays age and usage patina that includes some missing paint, bends, surface rust, and rust out areas at the base. A nice, large display piece that will really stand out on your wall.
