Antique 1933 Mills 5 cent vest pocket slot machine. Flip back the lid on the top of the machine to reveal the rollers and the prize/points chart. The rollers are printed with fruit and bells. Put a nickel in the slot, push it in and this spins the rollers. Missing the flip up lid in front that could give a prize. Has a Mills Novelty Co metal tag on the bottom of the machine (serial number 24474). Has a working lock with key to open the back of the metal case. Machine has uniform age and use wear. Tested with a nickel and all 3 reels were spinning. Measures 8.25” tall, 7” wide and 11.25” deep (with coin slot extended). *** Trade stimulators were used by businesses to stimulate business. They were countertop machines used to encourage shoppers to indulge in a game of chance. These little machines originated around the same time as slot machines. When certain states prohibited gambling, business owners could use these machines without fear of prosecution. *** View our full catalog of quality items up for auction at: PotOfGoldAuctions.com Tag Words: Coin Op, Coin-op, Coinop, Coin Operated, Gambling, Slots, Gaming, Casino, Games, Las Vegas Z1955 AE
