This lot includes a sterling silver birth record bell and a filigree plume brooch. The bell is impressed STERLING on the buckled bail and is monogrammed on the reverse. The filigree brooch is unmarked but tests as silver. The bell measures1.75 inches in height and the brooch measures 2.25 inches in length. Both pieces exhibit expected heavy tarnish and surface patina. The bell shows surface scratches, minor dings, and is slightly bent with wear (photo 11). The brooch clasp and pin are secure (photo 5).
