An American sterling silver bonbon server by the Gorham Manufacturing Company featuring intricate ajouré piercing and chased ornamentation. The design showcases a central nymph flanked by scrolling foliage and birds, while the handle includes pear and acanthus leaf motifs. The reverse is stamped with the maker's lion, anchor, and Gothic G symbols, STERLING, and model number 591. This server measures just under 5 inches and weighs 1.060 OZT. The server shows no visible breaks to the pierced work (photos 1-3). Expected surface tarnish and light scratching are present consistent with age and use (photos 4-5).
