A matching pair of Gorham sterling silver bon bon or nut spoons featuring heart-shaped pierced bowls and floral handles in the Daffodil pattern. Each spoon is marked with the Gorham hallmarks of a lion passant, an anchor, and a gothic G, along with the word sterling and model number H 44, with one additionally bearing the H.A. Hershberger retailer stamp. Each spoon measures 4.5 inches in length with a total weight of 0.860 OZT. Both spoons are in good condition with no visible losses to the delicate pierced metalwork (photo 1). Expected tarnish and light surface scratches are present, consistent with age and historical use (photo 6 and 12).
