A pair of American sterling silver nut or bon-bon spoons in the Lancaster pattern. The shell-shaped bowls feature elaborate ajoure foliate piercings and scalloped edges. Each handle is decorated with scrolls and a central shell terminal and is monogrammed. The reverse of each handle neck bears an impressed stylized letter D and text reading PATD STERLING. Length: Just over 5.25 inches Weight: 1.655 OZ. Items are in good antique condition with moderate tarnish as expected for age. Surfaces show fine scratches from use. The intricate pierced work remains intact without breaks.
