This vintage West German stoneware beer stein features the colorful heraldic coat of arms for Heidelberg, Germany, with a crowned lion prominently displayed on the shield and "HEIDELBERG" printed below. Crafted from light gray glazed stoneware, this stein is designed in a traditional open-top form without a lid and includes a molded handle with a raised base. Markings on the reverse indicate “0.5L” for capacity and “W. GERMANY,” confirming production during the 1949–1990 period. The piece exhibits light surface wear, minor discoloration, and typical glaze and manufacturing irregularities consistent with age, but no major cracks or structural damage are present. This collectible stein serves as a decorative vintage German souvenir with especially attractive heraldic decoration and clear origin markings.
